Faith. Healing. Growth.

Seeking counseling doesn’t mean that your faith has failed you, and struggling doesn’t mean that you lack faith. Sometimes healing begins simply by having a place where you can speak honestly about what you are experiencing without fear of judgment.

About

You may be struggling with patterns you want to change, or you may have a relationship that has been damaged because of someone else's choices. You may be facing questions that you never expected to face, or have carried around a burden that has simply become too heavy to carry anymore all by yourself. If you have decided that your experience doesn’t fit the life you want; let’s work on it. At Cumorah Counseling, I provide a compassionate, confidential space where faith and mental health can be addressed together. I work with high school-aged youth and adults, with a particular focus on members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and others who desire counseling grounded in Christian values. My goal is not to tell you what you should believe or how you should feel, but to help you navigate life’s challenges in a way that respects your values, relationships, faith, and individual circumstances. My areas of focus include: Pornography and unwanted sexual behaviors — helping individuals understand and change patterns involving pornography, masturbation, or other sexual behaviors that feel compulsive or inconsistent with their personal values. Betrayal trauma and rebuilding trust — supporting individuals and couples affected by sexual or relational betrayal as they process hurt, establish healthy boundaries, and determine what healing looks like for them. Men’s mental health and wellness — navigating stress, identity, relationships, emotional wellbeing, purpose, and the pressures men often carry quietly. Life transitions and adjustment — including changes involving family, faith, education, career, relationships, loss, or unexpected changes in life’s direction. Relationship difficulties — improving communication, connection, boundaries, and patterns that may be creating conflict or distance. Anxiety and depression — developing healthier ways to understand and manage difficult thoughts, emotions, stress, and everyday life. You can schedule a free 15-minute consultation to meet and decide if we'll be a good fit working together to achieve your goals.
